Launi DeYoung has over 20 years’ experience in the Human Resources and Organizational Development fields.  Her work with both small entrepreneurial companies as well as large, Fortune 100 companies enables Launi to bring a variety of perspectives and knowledge to every project. 


After 14 years with The Boeing Company, Launi started OrgWorks, LLC, an organizational effectiveness consulting company, to assist organizations in areas she saw the most opportunity for improvement: leadership development, team dynamics and managerial skills.  Her ability to quickly and astutely assess situations and identify problem areas coupled with a no nonsense, down to earth style provides leaders the honest feedback they need to improve.


Some of her most recent work includes addressing employee engagement and management within the Department of Energy, providing leadership and supervisory training to various divisions within the Department of Interior, creating a leadership development program for a local engineering firm and providing anti-harassment training to various businesses.  


Launi is also a DISC Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst and distributor and often uses the behavioral assessment as part of individual and team coaching as she believes leadership starts with self.

Launi has a Master of Science in Organizational Development from Pepperdine University and is a SHRM-SCP (senior certified professional). A member of local and national Human Resources organizations, she previously served on the local HR board (HRMANM) as vice president of communications and was president of the Rio Grande Industrial Liaison Group. A native New Mexican, Launi enjoys spending time with her family and their backyard menagerie.
